Peer-to-Peer Mentoring
Peer mentors (ages 16-19) become positive role models and support systems to children of ages 6-15 years, reach their full potential as individuals (The Peer Project, 2019).
Mental Health & Training
The Peer Project's mentors receive mental health training from professionals, so that they could help their mentees develop positive outlooks in life and have healthy mindsets (The Peer Project, 2019).
Saddle-Up for Success
The Peer Project brings children that are at-risk and who are newcomers to Canada, out of the city to visit a horse farm where they get the opportunity to connect with nature (The Peer Project, 2019).
Clicks and Stones
This a program that helps children who get cyber-bullied. An Educator and a parent of a child who gets/ got cyber-bullied go to classroom of grade 7 & 8s to talk to children about cyber-bullying (The Peer Project, 2019).
Girls-Only Group Mentoring
Newcomer girls, are mentored in the course of over 10 weeks, and the support they receive are based on their needs and goals. The Peer Project also help these girls to maintain a well-rounded lifestyle (The Peer Project, 2019).
Learning Disabilities Training
Mentors help their mentees learn and develop in the way that they do it best. Mentors are trained to support their mentees' own way of learning (The Peer Project, 2019).
